Wycliffe Bible Translators of Canada seeks to empower indigenous peoples worldwide for spiritual, personal and social growth through Bible translation and other language-related ministries. Wycliffe Canada is primarily a sending organization; we mobilize personnel, promote prayer and raise funds to support members and their overseas projects.

Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL), the training program of Wycliffe Canada, helps prepare its students for effective cross-cultural communication and language analysis. Located at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, CanIL provides valuable training for those planning to serve in another language and culture.

Global PartnerLink (GPL) seeks to dramatically increase participation in the world's Bible translation movement by linking ministry partners in Canada with national Bible translation partners around the globe. GPL's strengths are raising significant funding and linking major donors directly with like-minded organizations working in selected languages.

Wycliffe International
Wycliffe Canada is part of Wycliffe International. Its work is to facilitate the translation of God's Word into every language that needs it. With organizations in nearly 40 countries, Wycliffe actively seeks to engage the worldwide Church in the Bible translation ministry by recruiting personnel, raising funds and garnering prayer.

SIL International
SIL is Wycliffe's key partner organization for training, language research, translation and literacy. Founded more than 70 years ago, SIL International is a faith-based organization that studies, documents and assists in developing the world's lesser-known languages. SIL is committed to the empowerment of indigenous communities worldwide through language development efforts.

JAARS, based in Waxhaw, North Carolina, works to provide high-quality technical support services to Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International. Although JAARS once stood for "Jungle Aviation and Radio Services," its ministry today also encompasses computers, construction, purchasing, shipping and surface transportation services.
