Wycliffe Bible Translators of Canada

Wycliffe serves minority language groups worldwide by fostering an understanding of God’s Word through Bible translation, while nurturing literacy, education and stronger communities.

Another key goal is to serve the whole Church in Canada. We serve the Church in Canada by highlighting the importance of the Bible in one’s heart language. We mobilize the Church’s resources of personnel, prayer, and funding for a range of initiatives in the Bible translation movement.

Wycliffe Worldwide

Wycliffe Global Alliance serves language communities to express God's love through Scripture translation and compassionate service. As the worldwide Church and the awareness of the need for translated Scripture grow, so do the opportunities for more and more people to take part in this critical facet of God’s mission. Wycliffe Global Alliance is helping create an environment for greater and broader participation.

Wycliffe Canada is a member organization of Wycliffe Global Alliance.

Our Key International Partner

SIL International is Wycliffe's key partner organization for training, language research, translation and literacy. Founded more than 75 years ago, SIL International is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to serving language communities worldwide as they build capacity for sustainable language development. SIL does this primarily through research, translation, training and materials development.
