Sometimes God’s people need a quiet place away from the busy routines of life just to slow down, experience the Lord’s love and grasp His global vision. We need a place to retreat from the world to better impact it later.
Wycliffe has such a place—the Atlantic Wycliffe Centre in northwest Nova Scotia. The Centre is Wycliffe’s recruitment and training facility in the Atlantic region. It offers global ministry-focused retreats, initial linguistic training/orientation, and special events for university, college and high school students.
But it’s also an ideal setting for spiritual retreats, meetings and relaxation for individuals, church groups and Christian-based gatherings of up to 25 people.
The Atlantic Wycliffe Centre is situated at beautiful Lake Killarney, just south of the picturesque Sunrise Trail in the Cumberland county region. (See directions below). It's just 15 minutes by car from Pugwash and Oxford, and 25 minutes from Springhill and Amherst.
