Internships

Imagine . . . earning college credit in the DRC or Tanzania, or being immersed in a teeming city of South Asia.  Wycliffe Canada offers post-secondary students internships with hands-on ministry training. Under an approved supervisor, interns receive on-the-field training, mentoring and practical service opportunities both in Canada and abroad. "Credit" as well as "not-for-credit" internships can be arranged for two months to 12 months. Practical internships could include, but are not limited to: linguistics, language survey, literacy, teaching, finance, nursing, IT support, software development, sports ministries, administration, graphic design, church engagement and even mobilization with NextGen Ministries, right here in Canada!

Age 18-35
Duration 2 - 12 months

OneStory Quest (internship)

OneStory Quest is designed for college-age young people and recent college graduates. Interns in this program spend two years in interactive engagement with a people group helping to provide a set of oral Bible stories that will reach their hearts and minds. For oral communicators, a set of learned oral Bible stories serves as a portion of the Bible in oral form. Those stories become a permanent possession that can be used at any time, anywhere. They are an evangelistic tool that can reach multitudes!
Age N/A
Duration 2 years

Teach Children Overseas

Adventure-seeking teachers are prime candidates for schools. In many countries missionary families work in remote areas, far from an appropriate traditional school option. Wycliffe needs teachers to serve these families either as private tutors for a single family, itinerant teachers rotating between several families, correspondence or Internet school supervisors or education consultants.

Duration 1 or 2 years
