These audio clips were recorded by a Word Alive team that visited Guinea-Bissau to gather stories for the Fall 2012 issue of the magazine. Aided by Wycliffe staff and Canadian donors, the Evangelical Church of Guinea-Bissau is taking the lead in translating Scripture for the West African country. So far, the denomination has supplied dedicated local believers from its own congregations for the nine mother tongue Bible translation and literacy teams now hard at work.
