We love volunteers!
If you’re a Canadian looking for ways to make a difference, consider a volunteer work project with Wycliffe Canada. Your skills are needed to provide God’s life-changing Word for people around the world.
Retired? Thinking of a second career?
God can use your skills and experience to further Bible translation efforts around the world. Opportunities exist for administrators, accountants, HR managers and IT specialists (both systems and programming). We have roles in literacy and training, and for teachers, writers, vernacular media specialists and people skilled in creative arts. If you’ve been a good supervisor in a non-ministry workplace, that’s a definite advantage, too.
Wycliffe Canada Advocate
Programmer/Analyst — Calgary
If you’re an experienced programmer who values the work of Bible translation, we invite you to join our Calgary team. We’re looking for someone who can help us operate, maintain and improve Wycliffe Canada’s vital information technology infrastructure.
Do you have a spare bedroom? Accommodations are needed in Calgary for visiting staff attending meetings, and throughout Canada for staff travelling for R&R or to visit their ministry partners. Let us know how many you would be willing to host, and for how long.
Donor Affirmer — Calgary
Do you enjoy friendly telephone conversations and thanking people? Do you have a day or two per week or per month where you could thank donors for their invaluable contribution to Bible translation, and pray for them? Familiarity with MS Excel and database management will help, too.
Document Scanner — Calgary
