Caleb and Courtney Grove are honoured to be invited to work with the Kwak'wala Bible translation team on northern Vancouver Island. This team—made up of community elders and leaders in the local Church—is working to translate the Bible in a way that will strengthen Kwak'wala learners and speakers, aid in cultural practice and language revitalization, and help faith to flourish. In collaboration with local believers and other Wycliffe members, the Groves hope to serve the Kwak'wala speaking communities through linguistics, translation advising, and engagement with the translated Scriptures. Originally from New Brunswick, the Groves and their four daughters look forward to living life together with the people of the beautiful BC coast. Having grown up with the gift of God's Word, they are excited to be able to share the same with others so that they, too, may know that God loves them and that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
