DANYLUK, Anna

Anna grew up in Midway, B.C. (a small village in the southern interior). She joined Wycliffe in February of 2023 to work on The Bible Translator’s Assistant (TBTA) computer program as a linguistic analyst. Currently, she is living in Castlegar, B.C. and working on partnership development (PD) with the hope of beginning her assignment by the summer of 2024. Once her PD goal is reached, Anna will work remotely, with other TBTA team members around the world, on building an exegetically encoded text for the program to use for translation projects.

While working on PD, Anna is also employed at the local recreation centre, supervising public skating, teaching hockey and leading children’s activities. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring nature, helping with tasks at home, learning how to fix her car and reading.
