Anna grew up in Midway, B.C. (a small village in the southern interior). After high school, Anna got her BA in Applied Linguistics and then got a certificate at the Canada Institute of Linguistics for The Bible Translator’s Assistant (TBTA) training track. She joined Wycliffe in February of 2023 and currently, she is living in Castlegar, B.C. with her husband, Daniel, working remotely on the TBTA software program as a linguistic analyst. Anna works with other TBTA team members around the world, to build an exegetically encoded text for the program to use for translation projects. TBTA has been and will be used by Mother Tongue Translators to create either a first draft of the Bible in their language or to create a resource for them to use while writing their translation.
