WICKER, Matthew and Kylie

Matthew and Kylie Wicker both grew up in missionary families (Matthew in Russia, and Kylie in Togo, West Africa) and look forward to following God back to the mission field! After completing master’s degrees in linguistics at the Canada Institute of Linguistics, Matthew and Kylie joined Wycliffe Canada in early 2021. They are excited to work alongside speakers of minority languages in Cameroon, doing transformational language-related ministry! They anticipate being involved in language analysis that will provide a crucial foundation for Bible translation, literacy efforts, and language development. They hope to begin French study in 2022 with their two sons, and arrive in Cameroon by the end of 2023.
